Heritage Restoration & Conservation
Atlas Painting & Restorations Ltd. is proud of our achievements within the Lower Mainland, especially having been awarded a City of Vancouver Heritage Award through the Vancouver Heritage Commission. This award recognizes and honours special projects and accomplishments in Heritage Conservation for work we completed on the Sinclair Centre Clock Tower.
Other Heritage Conservation projects we have completed includes complete interior restoration and conservation at Christ Church Cathedral, as well as heritage sandstone repointing at Carnegie Community Centre, both located in Downtown Vancouver. At the Gulf of Georgia Cannery Buildings in Richmond, Atlas completed a range of exterior repairs, including lead abatement, historic window restoration, and structural restoration.
Exterior Building Envelope Repairs & Improvements
Atlas has a long history of working on several ‘leaky Condo’ projects within Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland. Our crew is very experienced with exterior building envelope repairs, including window replacements. We have worked on several strata complexes with failed building envelopes and have completed window replacements on hi-rises.
Parkade Concrete Repairs & Coatings
We are a certified BASF Traffic Deck Coating Applicator and have installed several thousand square feet of traffic coating in several parkades in the Lower Mainland. Our largest was at Douglas College New Westminster Campus parkade, in which we applied 600,000 square feet of traffic deck coating.
